Verenios
The other day i installed the H100i and all is well except the stock fans that came with it do seem a little loud now i have read that a firmware update may fix that or something but i have no clue what firmware update my H100i is as when i look in CorsairLink 2.20 it shows my CPU Load, CPU Temp, My 3 HDD's Temp and my GPU's Temp and fan speed but other than that there is no H100i temps etc, The pump is working and the fans are too i have kept a eye on the temps and so far good even when stressed the cpu is cool but still the issue that the fans start quiet when i first turn on my computer but gets louder and louder through the day and the face CorsairLink is not detecting my H100i as well even when i go into the update firmware part all there is in there is System which says 2.20 and then under that is AMD then ATI then Drives then under them update firmware i have seen pics were it says Hydro series etc its like my computer isn't detecting what so ever i even tried connecting a normal USB cable with one end being USB B and still no luck what so ever, Kinda worried about my cooler and also would like the full features of this product in CorsairLink so hope someone can help! Also using Windows 8 64-Bit.
Toasted
Is the pump L.E.D. on? Do you mean you tried the Mini USB B to USB type A cable and it still did not work? Are there any errors listed in Device Manager? Latest BIOS and chipset drivers? Have you tried using an older version of the dashboard e.g. 2.1.7? svtfmook
close link while your computer is running, unplug the usb from the pump, wait 5 seconds, then plug the usb back in. open link if that doesn't work, make sure the usb from the pump is plugged into usb header 1 on your motherboard. snfo
Try this Disconect the USB cable from the pump Open a comand line (start button than type cmd) than type on the new window set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 than paress enter. Next type start devmgmt.msc press enter This will open the device manager. Select show hidden Uninstall all the human interface devices with a washed icon Uninstall all the unknown usb devices Shutdown or reboot reconect the the usb cable and see what happens
Verenios
Okay i just did that removed the USB and then opened cmd and removed the 2 devices and then rebooted and replugged it and still nothing :( But learned something new and that is when the USB was out the 2 fans was kinda noisey and once i replugged the USB they all the sudden went a lot quieter so yeah well i took a snap shot of my CorsairLink Dashboard in the below attachments hope it further helps. Toasted
Is "Integrated USB Bridge" listed in Devices and Printers? If not, the H100i is probably faulty, contact your seller and ask if they can replace the unit for you. If not, request an RMA to replace it. svtfmook
mine does this as well. are you on windows 8 by any chance? usually just pulling the usb while the computer is running, plugging it back in, then reboot works for me. but don't think your h100i is faulty. most problems with the h100i is the extremely finicky usb driver. you can also try plugging the usb header into another port on the motherboard. Verenios
Yeah i have Windows 8 64 bit and also i have connected it into other USB headers on the MB and even tried a USB with USB B on one end and connected it to the back on the case USB's and nothing and also removed all USB devices to see if anything is interfering and no luck and yeah done that before too disconnect and reconnect and then restart like its working and all i placed the computer on a stress test keeping a eye on the temp and the highest i got was 41 degrees celsius so seems all is good just the USB header seems faulty so i may just ring were i got it from and see for a replacement, I want to thank everyone for your help.
