ralph9994
Hi, I recently bought a H00i. No one told me that i needed an earlier version of the corsair link software to update the firmware. So here I am with a bricked H100i. So I hooked up the fans that came with it to the 650D Fancontroller. But I noticed that the fans are running very slow. They even turn off on the lowest setting. And not just the Fans on my H100i but all (just the 2) case fans stop as well. What could be the problem? (PS: I connected a card reader to the quickcharge port on my mobo. And the card reader exploded. hope it hasnt to do anything with that.)
The Joshua Tree
In my opinion your better off with your own dedicated fan controller than the built in Corsair one, thats fine for basic fan controling but it doesn't give you a great deal of control over them. They are fairly cheap to buy anyway.
ralph9994
I don't know what's going on. Turned on my PC this morning. No fans spinning. Turned it up to the highest setting. No noise at all. Took about 5 minutes to get the fans up to speed of the highest setting. weird stuff. Guess i will buy a Fan controller then. Toasted
You can request an RMA to replace the fan controller.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 1, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 1, 2013 And the fans for the Cooler use to much power to connect to the fan controller on the case. I would suggest getting an RMA for the cooler and then once you have the conformation call our customer service by phone and request an advanced RMA and use the MB Fan header for the fans on the cooler till the cooler is replaced.
