H40 - Broke a pin, but I might have fixed it...

So I got my new H40 water cooler today, and went straight on to installation. Everything went smooth until, when I was cleaning off old thermal paste with a q-tip, and I suddenly glided the q-tip over on some pins... My screen wouldn't display anything, and I decided to have a closer look on the CPU. I discovered a bent pin, and basicly tried to bend it back up with the use of my credit card. I put the CPU back in, and I turnee on my computer. Still no display, BUT my headset's (Corsair Vengeance 1500) LED's turned on! I have no idea if that is a sign that I might have sort of fixed it, but even if it is or isn't, what could I possibly do to fix it? I don't want to waste my money on buying yet another CPU, when I just got my computer set up.

Hermanml I'm not sure what to tell you on this one. But with no display it looks like it's still messed up.

I'm not sure what you would want Corsair to do about it, it has nothing to do with the cooler or headset. They turned on because the USB headers received power is all. And that wouldn't have anything to do with the CPU, but because the MB powered up.

You would be better to check the AMD forums or send it in for RMA.
