peanutz94
If you plan on overclocking and upgrades at a later date i really would suggest a bigger PSU. Looking up your config on the PSU finder tool it suggests no less than a 750w PSU. http://www.corsair.com/us/learn_n_explore/?psu=yes
gunslinger007
The hx 650 is what I have now the only upgrades in doing are going to the 8350 and water cooling. I have the other stuff. The power supply recommended isn't that detailed and I couldn't get the over clock boxes to work. Would I be ok with just over clocking the CPU? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 30, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 30, 2013 You can try it but keep in mind the % of over clock will directly reflect an equal increase in power need to run the over clock on the CPU and memory so a 5% O.C on the CPU would equate to about 5% increase in power for the CPU and MB and on the memory if the Frequency is in sync.
