AllBeOk
Hey everybody. I've bought my m60 mouse a week ago and already had a few issues with it. First of all, my sniper button didn't work when I've plugged in my m60 and installed all drivers (automatically by Windows). So, I've decided that I need to download m60 software from corsair.com (M60 update 1.0.0.27). M60 FwUpdate and M60 setup were installed and after that my mouse became dead. I've re plugged it a few times and it "kinda" worked and because of that now sensitivity buttons, blue light and sniper button do not work at all. I've tried to delete all of that software as well as uninstalling and reinstalling all the windows drivers. I really like this mouse and feelings it provides but these issues are throwing me off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 29, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 29, 2013 Did you try to reflash the firmware on the mouse? Is it showing up correctly as a device in Device Manager?
AllBeOk
I've tried but it didn't work out at all. I reinstalled everything a couple of times but it didn't help as well. In Device manager it shows as a HID-complient Mouse. Driver provider is Microsoft and it says that "this device is working properly". It doesn't appear anywhere as Corsair Vengeance m60 mouse. I googled this issue and it seems like quite a few users are having this problem.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 29, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 29, 2013 What happens during the firmware update? Does it say it successfully completes?
AllBeOk
Yes. I've just tried to do it from the beginning and it said: "Firmware update completed successfully!".

Toasted
Try the M60 on another computer and see if the buttons work fine.
AllBeOk
It worked just fine on another one and it also worked fine on this (same) laptop before I've decided to fix my sniper button (it didn't function at all), by installing this software from http://www.corsair.com. Since then I am in trouble... Now it's not working on my other computer too. I didn't install drivers or software on the other laptop, so it seems like problem in the mouse then or what ? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 30, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 30, 2013 Fill out a RMA Request and I'll get you a replacement Allbeok. Give me your case number when you've done so.
AllBeOk
Ok, so there is no other way to fix this issue ? What if I'll get a new mouse and it will be the same problem or I would want to install drivers for a sniper button and this issue will show up again ? Toasted
The mouse is probably faulty. The replacement mouse should work fine and not be faulty like this one.
AllBeOk
But why did it stop working right after the installation of an update and software ?
Toasted
It's difficult to explain to why it stopped working after the update as there are a lot of possibilities.
