AX760i not working

Hi!

 

This morning my PC wouldnt power up. I looked inside the case and a red light on the power supply was on. I disconnected every thing on the PSU and used the "self test" button. With the same result, the red light is still on.

 

The PSU is only one month old. I have used Corsair power supplies for years without any trouble. But after googling I see other folks having the same problem. Maybe I should go for an older model which is properly tested.

 

RMA in Norway takes two weeks so I probably end up with buing a new and sell the old one... :(

Google ANY PSU from ANY manufacturer and you will find issues with them all. Failures happen no matter the manufacturer. It's just the nature of the beast! :)

I would suggest calling Corsair's CS and let them know the PSU is only a month old. In cases like this they usually cover shipping charges depending on the situation. You could also request an advanced replacement that would have a brand new PSU to you in just a few days instead of a couple of weeks!
