Mem11
Hi, HWmonitor showing 3 different speed on my case fans, Fan1 827 RPM Fan2 1173 RPM Fan3 1234 RPM so is this normal or one of the fans is not working properly ? Thanks I can't say if it's normal, but I have the same case and a similar MB(GA-Z77X-D3H) and my fan speeds are just about the same as yours. For me Fan1 is the one located on the lower HDD cage. I have modified my case a bit and added two fans to the front, took out the upper HDD cage and relocated that fan to the top along with an 140MM fan. I figured I was getting the lower speed on Fan1 due to the push pull configuration on the lower HDD cage.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 2, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 2, 2013 It's pretty normal as long as the numbers within 10% tolerance. If the number is off by great number, such as 827 RPM compared to the 1200 RPM, this suggest different type of fans being used.
