xpd
I bought a Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750 last May, it was quiet at the beginning. lately the computer became loud and i found out it is because the PSU's fan at full load while idle. Other fan i have has Acoustical Noise level at 19.8 dB max. Only ignoring thing for the this quiet pc is this TX750 right now. the most power hungry guys are i7-3770k and gforce 560ti. But even they work max is still far from 750W Max load, I am wondering if there is a chance the fan's failure or relate speed control doesn't work anymore? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 30, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 30, 2013 You might try the paper clip test to test if its a loading issue. IE if the fan runs at full RPM with only a case fan and HDD attached then I would proceed with the RMA and we will be happy to replace it.
