cdlftw
Hi, I've already returned one TX750M to Amazon.co.uk for the same reason, and this second PSU has the exact same problem... the PSU is silent when the fan is stationary, or when it's running, however moving the mouse causes the fan to stutter a few millimeters and make a horrible noise. Is there a fix? Is this entire range duff? What do I do here? Return again to Amazon and try *another*, or just abandon Corsair altogether? I should point out I've already tried all the power saving options in the BIOS that have been mentioned in the sticky... Thanks, CDL.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 28, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 28, 2013 That is an odd issue, have you tried moving the mouse to another Port on the MB? And do you have the latest MB BIOS installed on the MB?
cdlftw
Hi, It's not just the mouse, it does it in games without mouse movement, or when browsing the web (scrolling up and down pages). Pretty much the fan is either off (silent), fully on (silent) or doing some odd stutter and lots of noise - there doesn't appear to be an in between. When the noise happens the fan kind of rocks back and forth without actually starting up. It really is most strange. Mobo drivers are up to date, yes. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 28, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 28, 2013 Lets try and replace the unit but this could be caused by something else.
