doyll
I have 6 Flash Voyager USB 3.0 CMFVY3S-16GB/RF sticks. 4 work fine. 2 are slower r/w and get hot. I assume the 2 that are slow and hot are defective. How do I go about getting them replaced? Thanks

doyll
Thanks RAM GUY! I filled out and RMA request and had a reply in minutes! Very quick service! Problem is RMA says to post to Almere, The Netherlands and We strongly recommend using a carrier that will provide you with a tracking # and option for added insurance for your package. Any package that arrives empty will be returned to the sender. In addition, Corsair is not liable for any lost/stolen packages. Corsair will only replace the product which we physically receive. I received a brand new defective product, and you expect me to pay to get it back to you.. even worse the high price to send it recorded internationally? That's not how it works with other products I've needed to RMA replacement for replacement or had missing missing parts sent out for. Either they just send me what I need replaced or send me replacement and pay the return postage. PhAntecs, Notura, Fractal Design, Compaq, Western Digital, etc. to name a few who have done this. Thanks!

doyll
Okay. Still more screw-ups by Corsair RMA department. After waiting 9 days after it reached Corsair in Netherlands and finally getting scanned into system I received notice of return post on Monday RMA number XXXXXXX has now been shipped by UPS. Your UPS tracking number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Our records show the following information on the return: RMA number: 5574823 Corsair Product: CMFVY3-16GB Quantity Returned: 1 I assumed the quantity might be package so I didn't do anything. Today UPS delivers a packages and there is only one stick in it. :brick: I sent 2 sticks in for warranty! :veryangry
Synthohol
each stick required its own RMA, if you only did one RMA and expected it for both sticks that was the screw-up.
doyll
each stick required its own RMA, if you on did one RMA and expected it for both sticks that was the screw-up. You may be right about each stick requiring it's own RMA. But it is not just my screw-up. I did as instructed by RAM GUY Yes I would suggest using the link on the left and request an RMA and we will be happy to replace them When I read "an RMA" I understand that to be one RMA. When I read "them" I understand that to be plural; more than one. There is nothing in the RMA request form saying one item per RMA. Common sense would be for RMA / Customer Service personnel receiving 2 sticks in a one package with only one RMA to contact person who submitted the RMA and straighten it out... Not just send one replacement. Especially when it took them 9 days to even get the RMA package scanned in and their quoted RMA time is 3-5days. Both of the returned USB sticks were in their original selling card plastic case.. so no way for receiving personnel to know know there 2 in the package. Sorry but this has not the way it should be happening. :[pouts: Sure am glad it isn't PSU's or coolers with systems being out of commission while all these snafu's drag on.
Synthohol
while i can see your point of view, there was no area to select quantity on the RMA form. this should have been a sign to come back to the forum and verify. i would call customer service once they are open today and see what they can do for you. doyll
Forum is not where it should have to be verified. Customer Service or RMA departments are where it should be verified. My original post I assume the 2 that are slow and hot are defective. How do I go about getting them replaced? RAM GUY's reply Yes I would suggest using the link on the left and request an RMA and we will be happy to replace them I asked about more than one item and was suggest to do a single RMA. Nothing to misunderstand. :sigh!: If as you say it's one item per RMA than RAM GUY as well as RMA form should have stated that.:sigh!: I have RMA'ed multiple HDD's, Monitors, etc to other companies and only filled out one form for them. Admittedly they were serial numbered so had to supply serial numbers for each. But only one RMA form for all. Yes, I will have to call again and and wait longer to get it sorted.
doyll
Got it sorted. Customer Service in California told me one RMA should have been fine. That one RMA is usually used with multiples of the same item. Guess whoever processed the RMA in Netherlands was having a Monday morning brain fade. Still an whole lot of problems, trouble and time involved to get such a simple problem dealt with. :(
