serenit4me
MacBookPro5,5 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz Currently installed memory Size: 2 GB Type: DDR3 Speed: 1333 MHz Boot ROM Version: MBP55.00AC.B03 I went through the compatibility chart and my model was not listed CMSA8GX3M2A1333C9 Is it compatible because i sent a tech.support email with that very question and all i got is a RMA approval. I get 3 beeps from system with no startup with the 2 modules installed. Are they simply defective or not compatible? Thanks
peanutz94
Is there any chance you can link to where you saw that you can have 8 gig's in that model? Everything I can find on that particular model suggests that max system memory would be only 4 gig's. In addition the older MB's with the C2D's would be limited to memory modules made from 256mb IC's.and anything Corsair would offer or make today would be made from 512mb IC's making them incompatible with that system. peanutz94
Okay , that's cool, but this would still apply to that system. In addition the older MB's with the C2D's would be limited to memory modules made from 256mb IC's.and anything Corsair would offer or make today would be made from 512mb IC's making them incompatible with that system.
