Jamers
Just got my new Voyager GT 16GB USB 3.0 in today. I plugged it into my front 3.0 USB panel and was having issues right away. First it said it needed to be formatted and then would fail during format. I ended up formatting it via my USB 2.0 port instead. Can't seem to copy files to or from it on the USB 3.0 plug. It doesn't work on the USB 2.0 port however. I know the USB 3.0 port works because I've been using it for many of USB flash drive albeit this first USB 3.0 device I have tried to use. This is a new Windows 7 computers that supports USB 3.0. BTW, I successfully formatted and copied files to this Voyager on a MacBook Pro using the USB 2.0 port. Why am I only having issues with the new Voyager when it's in the USB 3.0 port?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 19, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 19, 2013 I would check with the MB manufacturer for the latest Controller driver as that is the most likely cause of this issue.
