s3bbe
Hi, yesterday I got 16GB Corsair memory of the type CMZ16GX3M2A1866C9. I checked it with Memttest86+ and always got reproducible errors at the same memory address. Using it as at a speed of DDR3-1333 instead of the XMP Profile1 didn't help. I found a tip there: http://geizhals.at/de/?sr=762291,-1 (German text) It says, that you should reduce the voltage from 1.5V to 1.4V. I tried this and the Error disappeared. But actually the recommended Voltage is 1.5V, so do you think the memory faulty and I should return it? Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-D3H, A85X CPU: AMD A10-5800K Black Edition Best regards
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 19, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 19, 2013 No the issue is with the MB and MB BIOS I would check with the MB maker for the latest BIOS and normally I suggest setting the Voltage manually to 1.55 Volts or 1.65 Volts on this platform.
