bbbl67
I've currently got a Corsair Force 3 240GB in my desktop. So I'm thinking of adding an SSD to my notebook. There's currently some good deals on Corsair Force F240 drives. I know these are older drives, and not quite as fast because they are designed for SATA-2 vs. SATA-3 (my laptop only supports SATA-2 anyways). But are there any other things that I need to worry about with these? Are there still new firmware being released for this series? Is the Sandforce chipset in these drives less reliable? Etc.? Toasted
Check the notebook's chipset and see if there are any compatibility issues with SSDs. You can also ask the manufacturer as well.
