jimmymac Posted January 15, 2013 Share Posted January 15, 2013 hi all i have a h60 cpu cooler and i want to upgrade to the h100i and so the thing i need to know is when i take the old cooler off the cpu do i need to put some thermal paste on the cpu before i put the new one on??? and can i use the old back plate etc ......and other hardware so i dont have mess with what i already have. thanks jimmymac Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anytime you remove a cooler/heatsink you change the thermal paste.The new cooler will come with new thermal paste already aplied, just like your H60 did.
