i bought the 3200xl a couple of days ago and had it installed for 2 days benchmarking, i tried ocing it today to see what it can do and to my surprise its not even stable at 210mhz 2-2-2-5, nor 220mhz 2-3-3-5 my timings and fsb is the same as review sites yet i cant get it stable at anything over 200mhz.

specs are,

2.4c @ 3.3ghz, 275fsb

abit ic7 with newest bios

ive been trying to run 270fsb 5:4 which is 216mhz at 2-2-2-5 with 2.8v which loads windows then gives me a bsod and my drives turn off until i reset.

trying 265fsb 5:4 which is 212mhz gives the same results.

almost all review sites got there ram stable at around 214-216mhz 2-2-2-5 and i cant even seem to get it stable at 212mhz.

ram seems to be stable at 220mhz 2-3-3-6 but i dont see why i have to relax the timings that much for a little overclock.

It's hard to say but the fact you have them running at Cass 2-3-3-6 at DDR440 would suggest it's not the memory! I would suggest testing them on another MB if you can as that might help. But they are rated at Cass 2-2-2-5 at DDR400!
