Shuttle SN41G2V2 and TWINX3200XLPRO - doesn't post

My specs:

Shuttle SN41G2V2 (FN41v3 mainboard - FN41si0m bios)

Athlon XP 3200+ (which currently only runs at 2500+)

Corsair Twinx3200XLPro

Sapphire X800 Pro

200GB Maxtor HDD

Shuttle 250w PSU

Since I replaced my kingston value against the twinx3200pro, my system doesn't boot anymore.

I read the nforce2 thread and it runs with the temporary solution, but only with fsb333 :(

I also tested the ram in another machine and it runs quite good. So is there a solution, do i have to rma the ram (or the shuttle)?

With the CPU you have you would need to run the memory at DDR333, if you try to run at default settings that may run the memory at DDR400 and with a 133/166 FSB CPU it will cause a bottleneck in the chipset and may make the system unstable!

Sorry I miss read your post and saw the 2500 listed! Most IGP chipsets will only run at DDR333 when using the onboard Video! However, you would need to ask the MB maker to be sure it will support DDR400 with/without the Onboard Video!
