Mr Ryle
CPU - FX 6100 Motherboard - GA-970A-DS3 RAM 8 Gigs Corsair Memory - CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9 Video Card - GeForce GTX 660 PSU - Corsair TX850 HDD - Western Digital Black OS - Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium Hi, I recently bought the RAM and Motherboard as an upgrade but I found out that my RAM wasn't performing at 1866mhz. So i went into Bios and corrected what was wrong, the PC wouldn't pass POST due to bad overclock so I then went back and changed the timings from AUTO to MANUAL and changed the timings to 9-10-9-27 and voltage to 1.5 ... it booted but now my OS is reading 6 gigs (3.98 Usable) i am really lost on what to do any help is appreciated . PS - I also ran memtest received no errors
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2013 I would try and set the memory Voltage to 1.65 Volts and set the CPU/NB Voltage to +.2 Volts over default and make sure that command Rate is set to 2t and test the system with http://www.memtest.org
