Overdoze Posted December 29, 2012 Share Posted December 29, 2012 Just bought a Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset. The headset functions fine using the Windows drivers but when I install the latest Corsair drivers the sound distorts and sounds terrible. Does anyone know any solutions to this? Having similar problems? Or is it just a bad driver? Just using the Windows drivers doesn't get the full capability from the headset (Dolby and 7.1 simulation). Any help will be greatly appreciated. EDIT: Resolved the Issue by using a USB 2.0 port opposed to USB 3.0. Headset now works fine. The Corsair driver must not work well with USB 3.0.
