They should run in that MB, just you may not be able to run tight timings with that model! I would use slots 1-3 and set the memory Frequency at 100% or 1-1 with your CPU and set the Dim Voltage to +.2 Volts and set the timings to Cass 2-3-3-6 and test the system with http://www.memtest.org If it works at these settings you can try a faster setting but I would test it with Memtest!

Please ask your MB maker to help you with how to set the timings, as they all differ and have their own way of doing things! But the timings will be listed in your Bios usually under advanced Chipset and I believe with Giga-byte you have to use a key stroke at the main bios screen to see all of the menus CNTRL + F1!

With that MB I would suggest you set the Rass to Cass to "3" so I would set these timings and then set the Dim Voltage to +2.7 Volts:

CAS Latency CL=2.0

Row Cycle Time tRC 11 Spec Bios Default

Row Refresh Cyc Time tRFC Bios Default

Ras# to CAS# delay tRCD 3

Row to Row delay Bios Default

Min Ras# Active Time tRAS 11

Row Precharge Time tRP 2

Write Recovery Time Bios Default

Write to Read delay Bios Default

Read to Write Delay Bios Default

Refresh Period tREF Bios Default

Enable 2T Timing Disabled

Then test the system with http://www.memtest.org and make sure it's stable! If you have problems, I would set Enable 2T Timings to AUTO and test it again!

You can try tighter timings but I found these to be better over all performance, but test your system it may differ!
