I have 1 stick of CMX512-3200 in my system.....i was just wondering why is this ram considered XMS? its got extremely lax timings of 3-3-3-8 @ DDR400...i cant seem to overclock it at all!...my 2500+ Barton is a pretty good overclocker....i have hit 220x11 stable but as i increase FSB, timings get worse....above 200, i get timings of 3-4-4-9...thats super lax....just wondering why its considered XMS...i have tried everything to overclock it...but nothing works...

Well that's your choice, but you did buy memory that's warrantied at 3-3-3-8 (PC3200), and it's doing that just fine. If you want to OC it's recommended that you get the 3200XL memory, as it's based off some Samsung memory that's normally used at 250 Mhz (DDR500) at 3-4-4-8 I think. The 3200XL timings are 2-2-2-5. Of course they're not warrantied at anything higher than PC3200 speeds, but they should OC much better than standard 3200.
