Snaptrap
Could you guys please make a firmware update that works specifically for these fans? You make these fans and even try promoting them with your liquid coolers, but you don't even support them to work with your liquid coolers. I'm tired of waiting and I'm about to return my cooler (thank goodness for extended warranty). Also the CorsairLink software is constantly running/accessing my hard drives. This stops whenever I kill the Sierra processes. Unfortunately it starts up again. I didn't buy this cooler to check my hdd or graphic card temps. I'd use the less cumbersome AIDA64 for that. Lintrix
+1 This would be most helpful considering it would streamline your products to work in conjunction.
Snaptrap
They could just add a note stating that the update is for the SP and AP series fans only and not to update if using the stock fans. They don't need to make an update to work for all their fans if they're having difficulty doing so, which is obviously the case. And dump the HDD monitoring system. I don't want my drive motors burnt out any time soon.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 12, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 12, 2012 We are actually trying to make the controller to work with not only the SP and AF fans but even aftermarket fans. Not guarantee at this point but hopefully with new FW in the future.
