Screwballs
Hi all, As per this thread http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=107328&highlight=i%2Fo+usb I cannot use the two USB 3.0 ports. Nothing seems to work in them. I submitted an RMA a while back but got snowed under with real life and now want to try and get it sorted. Has there been any luck with fixes or must I replace the front i/o? Many thanks, Screwballs

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 5, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 5, 2012 What was the case number and I will see it gets processed, but if you did not provide your address in the request that is likely why it has not been processed. Jerom747
Hi all, As per this thread http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=107328&highlight=i%2Fo+usb I cannot use the two USB 3.0 ports. Has there been any luck with fixes or must I replace the front i/o? Many thanks, Screwballs I have the same problem. Corsair sends a new frontpanel right away. Thanks for that. According to my supplier its a known problem with the 500R. The USB port copper inside plates are to much upright. When plugging in the first time there is a risk of pushing these plates backward into the housing. Then there's no contact betweenthe USB plug and the port connector plates anymore. I think it's a production issue.
