GamerGirlAlice Posted November 25, 2012 Share Posted November 25, 2012 okie i have a dumb question. i know the link kit came out first but now we have all these i series remakes like h100i or ax1200i. do i still need the kit or are the built in the cooler and psu's now? Toasted Posted November 25, 2012 Share Posted November 25, 2012 The AXi series PSU come with a USB dongle for Corsair Link. The Hydro Series i series have a USB cable for Corsair LINK. You do not need the kit for these two units. Its there if you want to control your fans and lights. (Cooling node and Lightning Node) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But if you want to Monitor them visually, change fan settings, lighting etc etc you will than need the Corsair Link. The H100i has two LINK connections (USB, LINK Digital Port) The USB cable allows you to use the dashboard without the LINK Commander Unit (Silver Box). The LINK Digital Port is for the Commander unit. The AXi Series PSUs come with a USB LINK Dongle. This only has ONE port for a LINK device.
