Guga27
Hi, i need a little help, i want to buy a voyager gt 32GB, but there are two models, the CMFVYGT3 with maximum read rate of 135mb/s and write 41mb/s, and the CMFVYGT3S with 220mb/s, and write 55mb/s, this in USB 3.0, well, i will use it mostly in USB 2.0, are there any differences in read/write rate on USB 2.0 between this two models? Thanks in advance.
Toasted
The USB drives will work with USB 2.0 ports but the read/write will be slower than USB 3.0.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 24, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 24, 2012 As toasted stated they will only run at the max speed of your USB 2.0 Port so it will make no difference of which drive you use, But I would suggest the Short body version as they will hold up better long term. Part Number CMFVYG3A-32GB or CMFVYGT3S.
Guga27
Toasted only said it will work on USB 2.0, that i already knew, if it makes no difference but it will be better to get the CMFVYGT3S 32GB i will go for that one, thanks. By the way what's the fdifference between them?, CMFVYG3A and CMFVYG3S?
