About the 200MHz FSB 1:1 and CL2 on nForce2

Recommended Posts

I was viewing the dual channel memory kit recommendations and i found out one i want, but before i'll buy it i need someone to assure me of one thing - will the TWINX1024-3200LL (recommended for my Abit NF7-S v2.0) and/or TWINX1024-3200XL work at 200MHz FSB 1:1 AND CL2?

Recently i had 2x256 GeIL PC3200 dual channel kit at 2-3-3-6 and it worked perfectly at 200MHz FSB in sync with memory (1:1) on abit NF7-S v2.0. A week ago, me and 2 of my friends decided to upgrade to 2x512 of the same family, and we had to sell them to P4 Presscott owners, because we all got our games exiting on us at factory timings on MSI, Abit and Epox nForce2 400-based mobos (200FSB, 200MHz memory and CL2-3-3). They work fine at CL2.5 AND FSB 200, CL2 AND FSB 166 but not at the factory specs. I want to get the corsair modules now, unless they will behave in the same manner.

Please assure me they will work properly, before i buy,
