H100 Fans perma full speed.

Hello Guys,

 

I have had the H100 working fine for months now except for the grinding noise. I unplugged the two fans from the top of the pump, and once I have plugged them back in the fans stay at full speed.

 

I have tried resetting the pump. Turning off CPU fan control in the bios but nothing seems to work!

 

They are really loud, it sounds like a plane taking off!!

 

Any suggestions?

Try resetting the unit and see if that changes;

 

To reset the firmware, use the following procedure:

1. While the computer is running, hold down the profile button for approximately five seconds

2. Wait one minute, while the unit continues to run

3. Shut down your computer

4. Press and hold the profile button for five seconds while turning on the power to your computer.

Already tried that. Fans still on full speed :S

Can you try the fans one at a time to be sure it is not just a bad fan?

Tried both fans each one at a time but unfortunately still does not make a difference. Both fans are fine its just the speed.

I am sorry about that I would either speak with the reseller about replacing the unit or please use the link on the left and request an RMA and we can replace it.
