Hi guys :hihi:, my uncle has just bought this SSD for me and look at these benchs:

I looked around for benchmarks and I can see that my SSD is slow. Is it because my other pc components?

Core2Quad Q9400

Asus P5G41T-M LX3

RAM DDR3 King 4GB.

I think it's because this mother is SATA 2 (although searching in the web, it says there's no much difference between sata 2 or 3 with an SSD). Or maybe it doesn't support AHCI.

Am I right or the SSD is working fine? How can I solve it?

Thanks for your help.

Your SSD appears to be working perfectly. You are correct, your speeds are limited by the fact that your MOBO has a SATA2/3Gb controller. Just make sure you have the most recent controller driver from Intel and you should be fine.

Thank you. And the last question, what's the name of that driver? Or you mean my mother's drivers?
