H60 CPU Overtemperature after cleaning

So I uninstalled and reinstalled the fan+radiator to clean out the dust trapped between the two parts and I started getting CPU over temperature errors. I can feel water moving in the tubing and the fan's spinning.

Are you supposed to hear sloshing when you shake the radiator unit?

If you've literally "shaken" it, chances are you've caused a build of of air bubbles in the system, causing rising temps.

Whilst not a good idea to "shake" it, yes you would hear it sloshing about, the system isn't 100% full of coolant, there is air in them too.

Try lying your case on its side for 24 hours, let the tiny air bubbles settle. Then try again.
