boom
I am building a new comp. Mobo: MSI K8N Neo Platinum RAM: CORSAIR 512MB CMX512-3200XLPT. Which seems, from reading the boards, to have problems with the RAM I want. The chip is going to be an a64 3000+ newcastle. I want to add another stick for 1gb of ram in the near future (1-2months). Are there any problems? Do I have to dumb down the nice 2-2-2-5 CAS timings in order for it to work?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted August 18, 2004 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 18, 2004 I would suggest you get Twinx1024-3200XL rather than buying 2 single modules! However, even if you have a Twinx set with more than one module you may have to relax the timings as this MB is not dual channel and it may not run with tight timings with more then one module!
