M90 problem

Hi,

 

Installed my new mouse. Downloaded last version of software. Ran the M90 firmware update program V1.11 and installed M90 Software v1.0.0.25. Than restarted computer and the mouse didn't react anymore. Put in another USB port restarted and got mouse back. Tried to redo the firmware update as stated on your board but got the following error "Cannot open USB device, please reinstall driver". LED 1 and 6 are on, 2-5 are off this seems stange.

 

Retried the firmware update on an old portable and got the same result.

 

What do i do?

Are you connected to a hub or USB 3.0? If not, and the mouse doesn't work in any other machine or USB port, I'd recommend getting an exchange with your retailer. If they won't take it back or exchange it for you, request a RMA with the link to the left and let me know your case number.

The original connection was on an USB 2 port directly as was the attempt on the portable computer afterwards. It was the last M90 they had in stock so i think i'll go with the RMA. I'll let you know the RMA number as soon as i get it.
