warranty issue

Folks

I don't think Corsair is being reasonable in the least.

I have recently had an SSD drive go defective while under warrantee, Corsair claims they sent a replacement after I shipped them the RMA drive.

The replacement drive has never arrived!

Corsair is now out right refusing to resolve the issue without explanation.

 

The following is the correspondence from our friends at Corsair

Unfortunately we are not sending you a replacement for it.

Unfortunately your replacement has not been approved. If you received an empty box as a replacement you should of notified us immediately.

clermonc, you aren't posting enough info. Here's what I can infer so far:

 

1. You RMA'd something to Corsair, RMA # 3554140

2. They sent a replacement back and it arrived on 5/16/2012 (UPS: 1ZA3968E6748323172)

3. For whatever reason you didn't get it.

 

Here's where it gets fuzzy. You communicated with Corsair's customer service, but it appears that part of the conversation is missing from what you have posted here. I'm infering from the communication above that Corsair's customer service said that they were not going to send you a second replacement.

 

Is this correct?

 

If you did not receive the package, you would need to talk to UPS and give them that tracking number so that they can research what happened. You can file a missing package claim with them.
