Intel DG41TX 775 with XMS3 TW3X4G1333C9A

Recommended Posts

I just bought a XMS3 TW3X4G1333C9A G 4GB 1333MHz ( 2X2GB ), but it doesn't work, the pc won't boot and just keep bipping.

Before i was using a Corsair 1 gb 1066 (I don't remember the model exactly because i'm at work) and a generic ram ddr3 1333 and it work fine.

What i'm doing wrong?

Unfortunately your mother is a socket 775 with the G41 chipset and the most likely cause for your incompatibility is that the memory density you can only support is a 256MB x 8 setup, whereas all our new DDR3 memory is actually 512MB x8. You’ll need to find DDR3 memory that is 256 x 8 in order for it to work with your computer, and we apologize but we don’t make DDR3 in this configuration anymore.
