Force 3 129 GB SSD CrystalDiskMark

I've just been wondering on the same thing with my Force3 129 GB SSD the first tests in CrystalDiskMark was depressing.

 

I did follow some guides to remove prefetch and the superfetc (whatever they were called) and STILL the speeds weren't at the place where i wanted them. Fixed the TEMP files at another disk updated BIOS to the newest and yet STILL I was ripping my hair out of my head.

 

So for **** and giggels I went into the windows7 services, closed down allot on there.

windows Search, Everything from HP (My Printer) set stuff to manual and just worked ALLOT in there. System is stable, running 2 days in a row with no errors nor freezing. Happy with that.

 

Here are my first test

  Random Read 4KB (QD=32) :    81.498 MB/s [ 19897.0 IOPS]
 Random Write 4KB (QD=32) :    57.709 MB/s [ 14089.1 IOPS]

 Test : 1000 MB [C: 47.2% (52.7/111.7 GB)] (x5)
 Date : 2012/03/29 22:47:17
   OS : Windows 7 Enterprise Edition SP1 [6.1 Build 7601] (x64)

 

It was very similar to that until i fixed my services. and here those test are.

         Sequential Write :   452.949 MB/s
        Random Read 512KB :   440.315 MB/s
       Random Write 512KB :   442.129 MB/s
   Random Read 4KB (QD=1) :    36.336 MB/s [  8871.2 IOPS]
  Random Write 4KB (QD=1) :    96.889 MB/s [ 23654.5 IOPS]
  Random Read 4KB (QD=32) :   102.454 MB/s [ 25013.1 IOPS]
 Random Write 4KB (QD=32) :   251.321 MB/s [ 61357.7 IOPS]

 Test : 1000 MB [C: 27.7% (31.0/111.7 GB)] (x5) <All 0x00, 0Fill>
 Date : 2012/04/01 15:03:01
   OS : Windows 7 Enterprise Edition SP1 [6.1 Build 7601] (x64)

 

You can feel the difference there right ?
