roscowgo
Hello all, I just got a new processor as my old one went *** over teakettle. On the thermal compound front, any reliable methods to get a good bond between the heat shield and the cooler? Can't exactly place it on and twist with the H70.
peanutz94
I've always used just a good pea sized drop in the middle of the CPU.
roscowgo
For a normal heatsink I would too. I will be installing it soon. We shall see one way or another.
babdi
I have used H70;now have H100. I use Artic silver 5,Centre drop method.Works fine on AMD. On Intel you have spread a thin line in middle and spread across evenly.
