jimbobby
I can select a different profile (it lights up on the display) but the fans will no longer slow down or speed up. It seems that they are stuck at about 2000RPM. The unit is most definitely hooked up correctly, I've gone over it a few times to be sure. I have tried the firmware reset and it hasn't helped. I also tried using a different fan to troubleshoot if the other fans were bad, no change there. If someone has any thing else I could try, please let me know. My PC sits about 2 feet from my head and these loud fans are starting to get to me . Thanks for reading.
peanutz94
The profiles will not change the speeds of the fans until they reach a predetermined temperature. Run a CPU intensive program to heat up your CPU and seeif the fan speeds change then
jimbobby
My CPU idles at about 27ºC (room temp is 18ºC), the Corsair profile is set to position 1, yet the fans are screaming loud. Temp differences don't seem to make any difference on the fans RPMs
jimbobby
No one has had a similar problem and found a solution? Or should I go ahead and try and get this unit replaced through RMA?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 2, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 2, 2012 If the reset does not help. Submit an RMA and let's get the unit replaced.
