Sniffy
Hey all, I'm planning to go Trifire 7970s, I currently already have 2 cards installed. The problem is I only have a single PCI-E cable left over. I live in Australia so Corsair cables seem to be out of the question. The people I usually buy from have BitFenix sleeved pcie cables available for purchase. Do Corsair PSUs follow some sort of PCI-E cable standard so that these will work? I've been doing some reading and it seems like cables aren't interchangeable. In the event I need to use Corsair cables, what exact do I do short of buying an entire new PSU just for a single cable? Thanks in advance
peanutz94
Do Corsair PSUs follow some sort of PCI-E cable standard so that these will work? Sorry, those would not work and would damage the PSU. They use a proprietary design . You can however purchase the extra cables from Corsair's online store
