lukasf
Hi I own a Corsair Force F120 SSD. I bought it about one year ago and I am using it in my notebook. About one week ago I tried to boot my notebook (Linux Mint 12 x64) but the BIOS could not find any OS. After some investigation I found out that the SSD was OK, only the partition table was gone - so all partitions were lost. There was no valueable data on it. I created a new partition and reinstalled my OS. Everything worked fine again. When I wanted to start the notebook today, the BIOS tried to access the SSD for about 5 minutes and the I recieved the message "Operating system not found". I connected the SSD to my PC. The only reaction were some SATA-errors in the Linux "dmesg" output. If this is an RMA case: I bought the SSD from amazon.de (I am in Europe) - should i return the SSD to Amazon or schould I use the Corsair RMA? If I use the Corsair RMA, do I have to send the SSD to USA or is there an RMA center in Europe? Thank you for your help.
Toasted
The SSD might be failing but im not 100% sure since i can't find anything on "SRST". -Request an RMA Use the the RMA link in the left. I think there is a RMA department in the Netherlands.
