mra282
I had the 16gb set of 4gb sticks of ram (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9) and now one of the sticks have failed and comes up with tons of errors when I run memtest I was wondering if CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 is the same memory and if I can buy that to replace the failed module and still be compatible with the other 3 modules in a dual channel configuration. peanutz94
It would be highly inadvisable to add a unmatched stick to the ones you have. If you are concerned about down time you can call CS service and ask about an advanced RMA so they send you a new set of modules before you have to send the defective ones back. You will need to send in all modules that originally came with the kit so you recieve a matched kit in return
