Doxe
I own the HX1000. I am moving my components to a new case and currently testing a water cooling loop for leaks before providing power to the motherboard and other components. I hooked up my water pump and a fan to the PSU - Nothing else is connected to the PSU. Afterwards I jumped the green to black pins so I can test the system. The PSU is in fact providing power to the pump and fan, as they fire right up. However, the PSU fan does not spin up at all on the HX1000. Should the water pump and fan be enough load on the PSU to call for a fan spin up on the PSU? Or is it only spun up when needed? I fear I may have a dead fan or fan circuitry on my PSU. Any clarification or help is appreciated.
