What are those two cables for?

this is so you can hook your front panel USBs to motherboard's internal legacy USB connector.

these are front USB 3.0 cables that go to the back I/O panel of the motherboard. If it doesn't have USB 3.0, you can use the cable from the first picture to hook it up to internal USB 2.0 connector so you get at least some functionality out of the front ports.

There are two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 on the front panel.

So the first cable for USB 2.0 and the second for USB 3.0 ?

Could I connect the front USB 3.0 ports to motherboard internally to pins rather than back of I/O panel ?

Edit:I found out that cable is usb 3.0 to usb 2.0

I need an adapter like this to connect usb 3.0 internally.
