parsec
Yes, I agree, if a pump makes noise when operating within it's specified operating parameters and conditions (ie, voltage and orientation/position), then that points to a QC issue (out of spec parts, incorrect assembly) or even damage incurred during shipment and handling. Pumps are precision devices, and producing them at low cost is challenging. A quiet pump could be considered a luxury, or even a contradiction in terms to mechanical engineers. It can be done, but everything must be just right. I checked CoolIt's forums, and you'll find this issue there too. They have no solution besides replacing the unit. Not a surprise, since these devices are not meant to be tweaked or tinkered with.
wlw_wl
Nope they aren't, and I guess once you take the BLDC/impeller assembly out, you will never have it properly sealed again. Oh you can't even talk to CollIt on the forums because they shut it down.
parsec
Yes, their forum is closed, supposedly because they have left the retail marketplace.
