Shivan
Hi, I have a Corsair F60 which used to suffer from the BSOD problem, which was solved by FW 2.0. Unfortunately, everything is not fine, because it still sometimes happens that the system just crashes and reboots. Sometimes, the F60 vanishes from the BIOS, which can be solved by completely switching off the computer. I don't use "sleep" since it is a desktop, so that can't be the problem. Is the new FW 2.4 likely to solve this problem? Or could it be related to power supply problems? In the latter case: Which voltage is the one that causes stability problems? 5V or 12V? rhesuspieces
I think that the crashing of your system and the drive not being found at boot time are possibly two separate problems. I still have the later problem when starting from a shutdown system. I've had this problem since I purchased the Corsair F series drive. I'm using the latest laptop BIOS, SSD firmware 2.4, everything upgraded, etc... I still have the problem. I'm not saying the the system crashes are caused by the SSD but consider you are dealing with two independent problems.
