cayers71
Purchased an H80 on March 1st...rattling like there's a snake in my case... Anyway, I got an RMA from TigerDirect, but that unit was leaking coolant from the CPU waterblock and so I am stuck with the noise. Please help, incident number is 2738207. I want my quiet PC back. Is there a new hardware rev. available? Thanks.
wlw_wl
Nothing but a voltage mod currently, that is volt mod or fan controller. See the big H100 Pump Noise thread.
parsec
You might want to say that's not from Corsair...
wlw_wl
Do I look like Corsair? From Corsair - tap the pump or lay the PC on its side, if that doesn't help, RMA the unit. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=97733
cayers71
Thanks guys, apppreciate the responses. I did read through the h100 thread...none of the suggestions have solved the noise problem. I will wait to hear back from someone at Corsair regarding the RMA request. Do they normally take a week to respond...I've submitted two requests and have recieved no responses...? wlw_wl
Provide your case numbers if you received any and RAM_GUY might be able to help you. Some pumps will rattle unless run as low as 1700RPM, those are broken "too much" and all you can do is RMA.
