loloaqic
Over Christmas my SATA HDD crashed. I purchased a Corsair Force 3 120G SSD. I rebuilt, by re installing, NOT restoring, the whole PC. I have had 3 occurennces of System Crashes, where the System just goes into a reboot. The Event log shows "The last shutdown was unexpected" or some such message. What I'm looking for is a diagnostic that I can run over the SSD to give me the confidence that it may not be at fault. Is there such a diagnostic? Toasted
-Is your SSD on the latest firmware? -Is your BIOS on the latest version, available as of now? -Do you have the latest chipset drivers installed? -Does Windows have the latest updates available? FoLmEr
The best reassurance you can probably get that your disk is ok is probably testing it in another PC. If it displays the same behavior it's pretty safe to say the disk is at fault.

How do I find out? 2. Yes it is the most up to dat BIOS level. 3. Yes I have installed the latest chipset drivers. 4. Yes, I keep Windows fully patched.
