blomarne
Hello I bought a Force 3 120GB 4 days ago and i'm having sound issues. I get static noises when playing youtube videos via firefox and over skype conversations. When plugging in a borrowed SSD from a friend, it works perfectly fine. Also it works perfect when running on a sata2 drive. I've tried reinstalling OS, updates, firmwares and programs. Nothing works. I've also tried different cables, ports and unplugging ALL devices in my computer such as DVD-rom, fans and HDDs. Tried different sound drivers and different sound cards, same problem. The problem also occurs with the internal sound card. My external sound card is Asus Xonar DX 7.1. My drive came with firmware 1.3.3 on it. blomarne
it seems that I had problems with Directx 9. By installing different versions (end-user runtime, redist) I get different results. I installed redist june 2010 and now my sound is much better, though I can still hear it if I focus on it.
