Florian
Hi, I've a P3-128 on a Win7 PC; in the last months, system performance has gone down dramatically (startup >4 mins!)... when I ran ATTO, I saw that read was down to 27MB/sec (write 45 MB/sec). Any idea how to fix this? Otherwise I'll return the SSD to the vendor... Thanks in advance Florian
rodatam
Is TRIM and AHCI enabled? How much free space do you have? last chipset drivers installed?
Florian
Hi, thanks. Yes, Trim is enabled (is standard-on in Win7). Where do I check for AHCI? Performed secure erase yesterday, performance up to 200MB/s, but not more (ATTO).
Toasted
-AHCI should be enabled in the BIOS. (Refer to your motherboard's user manual), After that you should install the IRST drivers.
Darkcyde
You mobo is only SATA II. You will not be able to hit the rated speeds on that SSD.
Wired
You mobo is only SATA II. You will not be able to hit the rated speeds on that SSD.That doesn't explain why it's still 3/4 of SATA II speeds.
