Rockii3n
Hi everyone, I have just built office computer for my family. Asus PH61 M LE ( lastest Bio ver) Intel G530 4 gb ram ( 2 x 2): CMX2GX3M1A1333C9 Here is my problem, I tested one stick at the time and both sticks passed the memtest. However, system was not passed the test when 2 sticks were installed. I have tried changing DDR Voltage, VCIO Voltage, but the system still unstable, and cant pass either memtest or prime95. Really appreciate if anyone can help, i have been looked around for couple days without hope :( Here is my Bio setting
peanutz94
It's never recommended to mix memory. Even two sticks of the same exact part number cn cause issues if they have not been tested with each other. Is there any chance you can return both sticks for a single 4 gig kit, instead of two individual sticks?
Rockii3n
I bought those week ago, cant exchange now. I changed timing to 9-9-9-24 and DRAM Command from 1 to 2. 2 sticks passed 4 turns on memtest. I have been running prime95 for 2h30... finger cross ! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 10, 2012 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 10, 2012 The CPU you have onlu supports DDR1066 so please be sure you set the memory frequency manually to DDR1066 and set command Rate if its listed to 2T and I would set the memory Voltage to 1.6 Volts. Rockii3n
I found something very strange. Yesterday i changed timming to 9-9-9-24, T2. System passed 4 passes on memtest and 5h30h of prime95. Then i let desktop rested over night. I turned on desktop the next morning. Desktop becomes unstable again; could not pass even 1 loop of prime95 or memtest. I checked Bio setting and everything still remain the same :(

Rockii3n
problem solved. Desktop runs flawlessly after one stick was removed. Mixing memory stick will never be good ideal, even two sticks have same part number
