PrTv
I have a plan to upgrade my HDD very soon and am very interested in getting an SSD. In particular, I'm looking at a 120 GB model, but after going through the search, I discovered that almost all drives from any manufacturer that utilize Sand Force 2 chip have some kind of stability issues. I found that Corsair recalled its early batch of the 120GB model. However, in this thread http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=95825, Yellowbeard said anything 1123 or higher is good. Before making my purchase, can I get any confirmation that the problems that inherit in the recalled production have now been fixed?
Wired
That issue was solved 7 months ago. They're fine.
FoLmEr
Personally I have a Force GT and I've experienced the infamous sandforce disappearing trick once, one month after purchase. I haven't seen it since updating to firmware 1.3.3 - now several months after. They're indeed safe to purchase!
