garetjax
Quick question. On my H80, there is a single black cable that has a 3-pin connector at the end of it. What is this cable for, what does it do, and where does it plug into? Thanks!
wlw_wl
It's a RPM signal wire, it goes to your motherboard's CPU FAN header (most likely that's a 4-pin header) so that your BIOS doesn't scream at you for not having a CPU fan installed. It will report the pump's RPM not that of the fans attached to the pump.
